Funkdafied are proud to announce that DJ SOL will be doing a regular monthly DJ set at the Marrickville Bowlo starting on 8th July.
The event will run from 4 PM to 8 PM and will continue on the second Saturday of each month. DJ SOL is a young DJ with a very promising career ahead of him, at the age of 14 he has already played at major festivals like Splendour In The Grass and Vivid and recently won the Suburban superstar award on the Sunrise breakfast show on Channel 7.
DJ SOL has already done several DJ spots for Funkdafied at the Bowlo and has become a local favourite and we look forward to the popularity of these regular events to keep growing. You can expect an eclectic mix of music from SOL and on ocassion he will also invite some friends / guests along to DJ with him.
To show thanks for the support that I have received from the Sydney music scene, wether in the way of DJ/production lessons, advice, to product knowledge, to listening to me when Im stressed or talking with my mum and guiding her, or just a friendship, I have asked these AMAZING artists to perform with me, as special guests at my first club residency, each month at Marrickville Bowlo!
